How it works
A systemic contact and digestive insecticide, a mixture of nicotinoids and pyrethyroids that acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system and on sodium channels in the nerve cord. The thiacloprid part is from the nicotinoids group and the deltamethrin part is from the pyrethyroids group.
Uses
In Iran, it is used to control onion thrips, whitefly, and cotton bollworm. In other countries, it is used to control aphids, beetles in fruit trees with seeds and pits, aphids, whitefly, and vegetable minnows, potatoes, sugar beets, rice, and ornamental plants.
It is effective on the whitefly and adult stages. In cotton fields, it is used at a rate of one liter per hectare to control bollworm. In onion fields, it increases the effectiveness of the poison along with adhesives. It is used twice a season to reduce resistance to recommended insecticides.
