How it works
A contact, digestive and systemic insecticide from the nicotinoid group, with two isomers, Z and E, that affect nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the insect’s central nervous system.
Uses
In other countries, it is used to control sucking and chewing pests of fruit trees, citrus trees, and vegetables, as well as wireworms in potatoes. Spray at the first signs of aphids before flowering. Rotate with appropriate insecticides to reduce resistance. The maximum number of sprays per year is two. It is used in pistachio psyllium to reduce the possibility of damage to beneficial insects in the first generation.
To reduce resistance, alternative insecticides with different mechanisms can be used. In pistachio psyllid, due to the possibility of harming beneficial insects, it is recommended only to combat the first generation. The maximum number of sprayings per year is two. To control the psyllid pest, 400 to 500 ml of this pesticide is used in 1,000 liters of water.
The interval between the last spraying and harvest is 21 days for pistachios, 14 days for apples and potatoes, and 10 to 14 days for cotton.
