How it works
A combination fungicide consisting of metalaxyl, a systemic fungicide with protective and curative effects from the acylalanine family, and copper oxide, an inorganic and protective fungicide. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit enzyme activity and increase cell wall thickness. Copper ions can easily penetrate fungi and bacteria and disrupt their enzyme systems. Copper compounds have low toxicity to mammals.
Uses
Contains 25.8% metalaxyl and 6% copper oxide. Due to its protective, systemic, therapeutic properties and ability to penetrate and move inside the plant, it controls many diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, black spot and peach leaf curl. It can be used in vegetables, ornamental plants, fruit trees and tobacco.
This fungicide is effective in controlling diseases such as fire blight of fruit trees, potato blight, cucumber blight, crown and root rot of rice, peach leaf curl, and tobacco powdery mildew. No curative period has been recorded for this toxin so far.
