Description
Glyphosate (Roundup) Bhavaran
Glyphosate-41%SL
1 liter package
Non-selective, systemic herbicide for controlling annual and perennial weeds in fruit trees and sugarcane
How it works
A penetrating, non-selective herbicide from the phosphonic acid group with a mechanism of disrupting the synthesis and enzymatic activities of the plant. It is absorbed through the foliage and can be transported to different parts. Symptoms of the effect on the plant are chlorosis and necrosis of the aerial organs, first in young tissues and then in older tissues, and the formation of white spots.
Uses
In other countries, it is used to control perennial and annual weeds in fields of legumes, cereals, oilseeds, lawns, and gardens. The period of effect on annual plants lasts 2 to 4 days and on perennial plants lasts 7 to 10 days. The half-life in soil is less than 60 days. No cure period has been recorded for this poison so far. Avoid spraying on the leaves and trunks of young trees. Mixing with ferric oxide or ammonium sulfate reduces the amount of consumption.
