Description

Emulsifiable Oil Bahavaran

Emulsion Oil-80%L- 1-5-20L

Insecticide and acaricide with oviparous and contact herbicide effects

How it works

Volk emulsifying oil (Petroleum oils) is used to control aphids, thrips, mites, and their eggs and some diseases of fruit trees. This poison prevents insects from breathing by covering the respiratory and vital pores on the body surface of insects and eggs, causing the death of the pest. The purity of emulsifying oils is indicated by the degree of sulfonation.

For example, a sulfonation degree of 100 indicates that the pesticide is 100% saturated hydrocarbons, and as the sulfonation degree decreases, the amount of unsaturated hydrocarbons will increase. Emulsifying oils are made from paraffin and have different sulfonation degrees. High sulfonation oils such as 85 to 95 are used for summer spraying, and those with sulfonation degrees of 65 to 80 are used for winter spraying.

Uses

It is used against the waxy aphid, pistachio stem aphid, date transparent aphid, mealy aphid and red tea mite, black aphid, purple olive aphid, aphid of cold-hardy fruit trees, white aphid of non-fruiting trees and ornamental plants, and against eastern yellow mites, mollusks, red mites, scale insects and citrus wax aphids. The best time to use this oil to control mites, lice, aphids, etc. to protect fruit trees is one week before budding and at normal temperatures. To use emulsifiable oil, first dilute it with water and then spray it on all parts of the plants and trees until it completely covers all parts.

Volk oil intensifies the effects of pesticides and is compatible with most insecticides and fungicides. Also, adding Volk oil to pesticides during spraying makes the pesticides stick to the surface more and prevents them from being washed away by rainfall. Another use of Volk oil is to use it with vegetable oils such as soybean oil to prevent premature bud opening and prevent frostbite in late winter or early spring.

The concentration of Volk oil as a pesticide is one to one and a half percent, but using Volk oil at concentrations higher than 3 percent along with a potassium nitrate mixture in foliar spraying in February increases the concentration of potassium ions in pistachio flower buds and helps facilitate flowering and the quality of fruits and flowers.

In years when the number of days with temperatures between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius in the pistachio growing areas of the country is not sufficient and the cold needs of pistachio trees are not met, by examining the number of days with temperatures between 0 and 7 degrees Celsius, Volak oil can be used in mid- and late February to help meet the cold needs and the development and growth of flower and vegetative buds.

The interval between the last oil spray and harvest is 3 to 4 weeks. Never use without mixing with water. The time between spraying with sulfur pesticides and emulsifiable oil is one month.
