Systemic, selective and contact herbicide – for controlling broadleaf weeds in wheat and barley fields
How it works
A selective, penetrating, and contact herbicide from the aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid group that destroys cell membranes and reduces chlorophyll, photosynthesis, and meristem activity. This herbicide is absorbed mostly by the leaves and to some extent by the roots in moist soil.
Uses
Symptoms of the effect are slow growth, reduced stem and root growth, wilting and chlorosis spots. The half-life in the soil is less than two months.
In other countries, it is used to control narrow-leaved weeds in wheat and barley fields, flax, rapeseed, sunflower, clover, alfalfa, lettuce, spinach, potatoes, cucumbers, peas and beans.
This herbicide is applied after weed emergence and at the 2-4 leaf stage during tillering until early stalking of wheat. No cash period has been recorded for this pesticide so far.
