How it works
Copper oxychloride is a fungicide and bactericide that can be used against a wide range of plant diseases. Its mechanism of action is through disruption of cellular metabolism, protein deposition, and inhibition of fungal spore germination.
This fungicide, when applied to the foliage, can be absorbed through the foliage and even the roots and transported to all parts of the plant. It is suitable for controlling diseases such as citrus and pistachio gummosis and preventing phytophthora rot in stone fruit trees.
Uses
It can be used in a variety of diseases such as fruit canker, bacterial canker of stone and citrus trees, fire blight of stone trees, peach leaf curl, sieve spot disease of stone trees, almond brick spot disease, anthracnose and walnut blight, cucumber angular spot, wind blight in potatoes, and gummosis in citrus and pistachios. No expiration date has been recorded for this pesticide so far.
It is one of the most suitable fungicides for quadruple spraying on fruit trees. One application before bud swelling, the second application after blossom drop, the third application when fruit formation occurs, and the fourth application in the fall when 50% of the leaves have fallen. It is best to wear protective equipment such as a mask and gloves when using this fungicide.
