Description
Clodinafop propargyl (topic) Bahavaran
Clodinafop propargyl- EC8%-1000ml
1 liter package
Systemic and selective herbicide effective against annual broadleaf weeds such as wild oats, bloodweed, rye, narrow foxtail in wheat fields
How it works
It is a contact herbicide from the aryloxyphenoxypropionic acid group and a fatty acid synthesis inhibitor that can be absorbed and transported through the aerial organs and to some extent through the roots in the wood and phloem vessels. The symptoms of the herbicide’s effect on the plant are yellowing, wilting of the leaves, eventually their necrosis, and reduced growth of the aerial organs within 1 to 3 weeks.
Uses
In other countries, it is used to control annual broadleaf weeds such as wild oats in durum wheat, spring and winter rye, spring and winter wheat, and triticale. Topic controls annual weeds and is used until the end of the tillering stage of wheat.
Spraying should be done by airplane and tractor-mounted sprayers/ No expiration date has been registered for this pesticide so far. It cannot be mixed with Tofordi Mthpa, but it can be used with Granstar herbicide. In a field sprayed with Topik herbicide, only broadleaf crops can be used in rotation. Avoid use in barley fields.
