Bifenazite (Floramite) Bahavaran
Bifenazate- 24% SC-1000ml
1 liter package
A contact insecticide and acaricide effective against bean and vegetable spider mites, European red apple mites, two-spotted rose mites, and cucumber and strawberry mites
How it works
A highly stable contact insecticide and acaricide from the hydrazine carboxylate group that kills mites by inhibiting the electron transfer process in mitochondria.
Uses
This acaricide is highly sought after by farmers for controlling two-spotted mites on strawberries and European red mites on apple trees. It can also be used for integrated management of mites because it has no negative effect on beneficial insects and does not cause resistance. In other countries, it is used to control mites on citrus, fruit trees, vegetables and nettles, cotton, ornamental plants and greenhouse crops. This acaricide is effective on the larval and egg stages of mites. It is of low risk to natural enemies such as predatory mites. The Karnes period in cucumbers is one day, for strawberries three days and for apples seven days.
A non-systemic acaricide with high persistence effective against various spider mites and European red mites with a knockdown effect that causes a rapid effect on the pest in the form of instant paralysis of the mites. This acaricide is effective not only on the adult mites but also on the egg stage. Residues of this acaricide have been observed on leaf surfaces or fruit skin.
