How it works
A selective herbicide from the chlorostannilide group and a cell division inhibitor that acts by inhibiting protein synthesis and very long chain fatty acid synthesis. This herbicide is absorbed through the shoots and germinating roots.
Uses
In other salts, it is used to control weeds in corn, soybean, peanut, potato and sugarcane fields. The application of Asenite is pre-emergence and the application of the 76% formulation (Surpass) is pre-planting or pre-emergence. This herbicide is effective for controlling annual weeds and cockscomb. This herbicide is being removed from the list of permitted herbicides.
