Description
Metalaxyl Mancozeb Fungicide (Rosalaxyl) Bahavaran
Metalaxyl+Mancozeb- 72% WP-1000gr
Package 1 kg
Systemic fungicide with protective effect, effective against cucumber blight, potato blight, pathogenic oomycetes fungi, especially indoor powdery mildew
How it works
The fungicide is a combination of mancozeb (a contact fungicide with a protective effect from the dithiocarbamate family) and metalaxyl (a systemic fungicide with a protective and therapeutic effect from the acylalanine family), whose mechanism of action is multiple and disrupts the function of enzymes, preventing the activity of the polymerase enzyme, resulting in the accumulation of nucleoside triphosphate and increasing the thickness of the cell wall. It consists of a combination of 8% metalaxyl and 64% mancozeb. The first part, metalaxyl, can inhibit protein synthesis, and the second part, the fungicide, mancozeb, disrupts respiratory enzymes. This fungicide is easily absorbed through the roots, stems, and leaves of plants and is distributed systemically. The fungicide mancozeb has a covering effect and prevents the entry and reproduction of fungi.
Uses
In other countries, it is used to control various types of bush wilt and wind blight by watering the base of the bushes. This fungicide can be used to disinfect seedlings before planting and prevent seedling death (bush wilt) by immersing the seedlings in a solution containing this poison and spraying the aerial parts.
In other countries, it can be used to control diseases such as powdery mildew or downy mildew in tobacco, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, potatoes, and cucumbers. The period from germination to harvest is 7 to 14 days.
