How it works
A contact acaricide that is effective on eggs, larvae, and pupae of mites is from the diphenyloxazoline group and is a mixture of two R and S isomers that inhibit the growth of mites. Etoxazole is a non-systemic acaricide that is effective on eggs, larvae, and pupae. It is actually a tick growth regulator that acts by contact and disrupts the process of chitin synthesis and molting.
This acaricide causes infertility of mite eggs and affects all developmental stages except the adult mite stage.
Uses
In other countries, it is used to control various types of mites on pome and stone fruit trees, citrus fruits, crops such as cotton, tomatoes, eggplants, strawberries, ornamental plants, and greenhouse vegetables.
This acaricide has no effect on adult mites. Do not mix this acaricide with Bordo fungicide. It can be mixed with other fertilizers and pesticides, but it must be tested before mixing.
Do not mix this acaricide with poisons such as Bordo, and be sure to use clear water without turbidity or salinity for spraying. If the pH of the water is high or low, use modifiers such as Bahavaran pH control solution. Note that you should avoid spraying on very hot days with wind.
